Education: University of South Dakota, Vermillion, SD - Bachelor of Science, double major in Biology and Chemistry

Doug has 26 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, beginning as a project laborer during his college years and quickly working his way up to President.  Doug’s experience includes time as a finish carpenter, steel erector, pre-cast erector, certified welder, erection foreman, concrete finisher, concrete foreman, superintendent, general superintendent, project manager, operations manager, estimator and now President of Puetz Design Build.  Doug was the foreman and Superintendent on large Sioux Falls and State projects such as the Minnehaha County Jail and Law Enforcement Center, Sanford Wellness Center and the USD Wellness Center with previous employers and has completed numerous schools and large projects in his time with Puetz.  Doug will be highly involved in estimating, value analysis, critical path scheduling, oversight and resource planning.
