Sherman Center sits on the campus of Dakota Wesleyan University. It is used for theater, musicals, choir, band, and orchestral performances along with lectures, and weekly religious services. It is a multifunction facility that required within the design, an acoustical balance between music and the spoken word, along with flexibility stage and seating areas to accommodate the many types of functions the building facilitates.
