Jake joined the Puetz Design + Build team in 2013 as a part-time field employee. As he completed his construction management degree, he continued working for Puetz on a part-time basis earning more and more field experience and leadership responsibilities. Jake became a superintendent in 2018 and completed multiple projects. In 2021, Jake switched roles and became a project manager and estimator. Jake has completed a wide variety of projects varying from schools to health care facilities, governmental projects, and hotels. Some recent projects were the Parkston School Addition, Colman-Egan School Addition, Parker School Addition, The My Place Hotel in Mitchell, and the Gregory County Courthouse Remodel. Jake also handles our precast and steel projects. Jake has managed many projects throughout South Dakota, Minnesota, and Nebraska for our steel and precast crews.
