Derek first joined the Puetz Design + Build team in June of 2021 as a skilled car-
penter with over six years of experience. He was quickly promoted to Assistant
Superintendent after growing and gaining experience in the commercial side of the
industry. He was the lead finish carpenter at the new Tri-Valley Elementary School
and more recently aided in the completion of the Lennox High School addition. Derek has been the Assistant Superintendent on the CorTrust Bank Headquarters in Sioux Falls, SD.
